Taurean Gagnon
Landscape Designer
There's a consistent through-line in the work of Landscape Designer, Taurean Gagnon: using design and data to address real-world environmental needs while serving the people who live with the outcomes. He believes landscape architecture and urban design can restore what matters most— environmental systems, fractured communities, public health, and more. And because this kind of work doesn’t happen in isolation, Taurean values strong collaborations, bringing an innate curiosity and a team-minded spirit that helps complex projects move from intention to reality.
With experience across construction documentation, design development, and construction management, Taurean has contributed to multidisciplinary projects ranging from large civic and institutional work to detailed planting and enrichment strategies. This work is strengthened by fluency across the tools that make projects real. The same drive and generosity behind Taurean's work follows him into the community, where he’s been part of local initiatives like the Philadelphia Flower Show, while his ever-present curiosity leads him to explore new hobbies and interests — including, recently, carnivorous plant collecting.
Taurean holds a Master of Landscape Architecture from the University of Massachusetts Amherst and a Master of Ecological Design and Planning from The Conway School, with certifications in Climate Change Hazard Mitigation and Green Infrastructure Planning.
