Viridian Landscape Studio™️ is currently hiring for the following positions:
Landscape Architect / Designer, Permanent Position
Position: We are seeking a Landscape Architect /Designer with 3 to 7 years’ experience to join us on a full-time basis. Successful candidates will be organized, outgoing, and creative with strong graphic skills. Our work ranges from Master Plans through technical documentation and will require a working knowledge of materials and detailing.
Term: Permanent in-office position at our office in Manayunk, Philadelphia; our office follows all state and local regulations and mandates concerning business operations, including working remotely via VPN when ordered. All computer hardware and software will be provided.
Education: Bachelor’s or Master’s Degree in Landscape Architecture
Experience requirements: 3 to 7 years of work experience in design and construction documentation; solid understanding of NE US plant materials. Experience with AutoCAD drafting and computer rendering is required. Experience in at least one of the following is preferred: project management, technical writing, project scoping, playground design, scheduling, and budget management.
Required Technical Skills: AutoCAD, Adobe Creative Suite (Photoshop, Illustrator, InDesign), Word, Excel, SketchUp; other desirable software skills will include Bluebeam Revu and TwinMotion.
Desired Skills: Experience working with City of Philadelphia agencies, drone pilot certificate, green roof experience. PLA licensure is preferred but not required; successful candidates will be working towards licensure at a minimum.
