Meet the team
Office manager by day and artist...also by day, Daina brings the same sharp eye for details she honed as a painter to Viridian's management and marketing strategies. She supports the design team with a strategic approach to operations, organization, and new opportunities – not to mention her positive attitude. Since joining the firm, Daina has spearheaded critical initiatives for improving efficiency, including an overhaul of the firm's contract and proposal process, a new employee manual, and the establishment of new project systems to help ensure the team's success.
Daina has extensive experience managing art, design, and architecture studios, including the Philadelphia-based firm KieranTimberlake, which she helped grow from 30 to 120 employees by restructuring and streamlining operations. Her sensibility is also shaped by her artistic practice, which explores the beauty of vernacular traditions and the quiet drama of everyday life. Her paintings have been shown at galleries in New York City, Philadelphia, and Columbus, Ohio, and are in the permanent collection of the Pennsylvania Convention Center. You may also recognize Daina from her appearance as a plaintiff in a different type of quiet drama: a 1999 episode of The People's Court.
Daina has an MFA from the City University of New York, Queens College, and a BFA from the School of Visual Arts.
